Intro to digital photography - ONE ON ONE CLASS $195

The class will consist of half classroom and half hands-on shooting, for a total time of 2 hours. Learn how to use your DSLR digital camera in manual mode. You'll also learn about composition, exposure, and personal style. You will learn everything you need about your camera and equipment in order to take amazing photos.

• Must be held in Kelowna BC, Vernon BC area or is subject to travel fees (waived for classes larger than 3 people)
• An additional classmate can be added (max 3 people for one on one sessions)

Intro to film photography $285

This course covers everything you need to know about film. This class is an excellent addition to the "Intro to Photography". This class will teach you how to use your digital camera in manual mode, and the basics of exposure. You can learn how to shoot medium format 35mm film and 120 medium format. While you don't have to own a film camera, you can use mine or mys. However, I prefer to show you how to operate your model and make it work. I'll explain the differences between film and digital, how to develop your film in a lab, and how to edit a photo.

• 1 roll of film (35mm or 120 / Portra) is supplied, shipped, and developed
• additional rolls of film can be added to this class for $55/$65 (includes shipping and development included)
• 120 film = 15-16 photos (smaller grain, beautiful colour)
• 35mm = 36 photos (larger grain, slightly different colour)

Editing with Lightroom & Photoshop $275

This lesson covers how to edit photos in Lightroom. It will take you through a 2hr editing session. This lesson will show you how to add special touches to your photos with Photoshop. It also shows you how to create an advertisement, banner or poster to promote your new skills.
